A 25-year-old fire volunteer died while attending to a fire incident in Barangay Isla Batis, San Juan City, Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, Oliver, died when the ceiling of a burning house collapsed on him. He was rushed to a hospital where he eventually died.

More than 12 firetrucks responded to the fire as the area was located beside an oil depot. The fire was put out shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) has assured Oliver’s family of assistance.
