A FIRE broke out at Landers Superstore, a members-only grocery and retail goods store, in Fairview, Quezon City on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, causing significant damage to the establishment. The blaze was reported at 4:44 a.m. and rapidly escalated to the fifth alarm by 5:16 a.m., prompting a large-scale response from firefighters.
Firefighters worked diligently to contain the fire, and it was eventually brought under control at 8:01 a.m. Authorities have confirmed that there were no reports of injuries or fatalities as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
As of now, Landers management has not released an official statement regarding the fire, except for a notice indicating that the Fairview branch is “temporarily closed.” Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses and the extent of the damage is assessed.
