THE Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has filed graft charges against Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo to the Office of the Ombudsman following her alleged involvement in the illegal operation of POGO in their area.
The same complaint was also filed against some local officials on May 24, according to DILG Usec. John Victor Llamas.
Complaint was filed against local officials for granting them a business permit to Hongsheng Gaming Technology Inc. even though its requirements were lacking and the license from PAGCOR had expired, Llamas added.
Aside from the criminal complaint, Guo also faces an administrative complaint due to his alleged negligence to supervise his staff.
