BOC, Clark inter-agency team seize P10.15M worth of marijuana resin, kush

Metrosundaily July 16, 2026

THE Bureau of Customs (BOC) at the Port of Clark, working alongside the Clark Inter-Agency Task Force Against Illegal Drugs (CRK-IATFAID), has intercepted four separate shipments containing illegal substances valued at over ₱10.15 million.

The haul consists of marijuana resin and high-grade cannabis known locally as “Kush,” marking another major success in efforts to stop illicit narcotics from entering the country through key entry points.

Authorities carried out the interception following intensified monitoring and coordinated inspection protocols targeting suspicious shipments passing through the area.

The seized items were carefully concealed, but joint operatives were able to identify and verify their true nature during the course of standard validation procedures. The combined weight and estimated market value of the recovered drugs highlight the scale of the attempt to smuggle illegal substances into the region.

The operation underscores the effectiveness of close interagency cooperation in strengthening border security and curbing the flow of contraband. The BOC and its partner agencies affirmed their commitment to remaining vigilant, upgrading detection measures, and ensuring that all illegal shipments are intercepted before they can reach local communities. Legal proceedings against the consignees and those responsible for the shipments are now underway.
