Barangay Mauway Captain Bernie Evangelista

A NEW set of officers of BAMAC (Bulusan, Antipolo, Montalban, Arayat, Calbayog) Homeowner Association in Barangay Mauway, Mandaluyong City took their oath before Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos and Barangay Mauway Captain Bernie Evangelista on Saturday at Mauway Gym.
Also present in the event was former Mandaluyong City councilor Charisse Abalos-Vargas and other officials of the city.
At least 21 homeowner associations also took their oath of office.
Evangelista who was celebrating his birthday gave P25,000 each as gifts to four nonagenarian recipients and ‘Pangkabuhayan Package’’ which was awarded to the poorest of the poor of Isla & Sinag consisting of 24 families.
The barangay captain promised to give his all out support to the newly elected officers and asked the officials to ‘lend a hand’ in maintaining peace and order as well as intensifying the fight in the proliferation of illegal drugs in their areas.
The newly-elected BAMAC officials are: President Simplicio Beley Jr., Vice President Renato Macandili; Secretary Ariel Joquico; Treasurer Samson DP Amores; Auditor, Maria Ella de Guzman. The Board Members are composed of Mario Caseres, Joseph ‘Boyet’ Navarro, Epifanio Lucido, Lourdes Mina, Lowela Villacrusis, Anita Ku, Bernardita Santos and Cristina Sambajon.
The election was held on May 20 at Mandaluyong Gym.
