UK Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils shares photo of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos meeting King Charles III in Buckingham Palace. Marcos, Speaker Martin Romualdez and the delegation will attend King Charles’ May 6 coronation.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Marcos said he was welcomed by the king’s representatives with whom he had a brief meeting.
The President also toured the Gatwick airport, one of the busiest in the world, and met its officials to gather ideas on how to improve operations of Philippine airports.
“Honored to have been greeted by a representative of the royal court upon our arrival in the UK for the coronation of King Charles III,” Marcos said.
