DFA confirms 3rd casualty in Israel-Hamas war

THE third fatality in Israel-Hamas militant group has been confirmed by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday.

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega said the third Filipino casualty was a 49-year-old caregiver from Negros Occidental.

“I regret to inform you that yes, it is confirmed there is a third Filipino casualty, a 49-year-old from Negros Occidental,” De Vega told reporters.

De Vega said the third Filipino fatality was among the hundreds of people killed during the Hamas attack at a music festival in southern Israel.

Her family and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. were informed about it, he added.
