ROBERT Joseph De Claro has assumed the role of President and CEO of the Social Security System (SSS), succeeding Rolando Ledesma Macasaet (right, in dark suit). The simple turnover ceremony took place on Tuesday, December 17th, at the SSS Magsaysay Hall in Quezon City. Mr. De Claro, a former SSS Commissioner, pledged to prioritize improvements in member contribution collection and to simplify transactions for all SSS members, with a particular focus on Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and pensioners.

Technology Expert Welcomes De Claro’s Appointment
Michael Maligat (right), an ICT and aviation projects expert, expressed his support for the appointment of Robert Joseph De Claro as the new President and CEO of the Social Security System (SSS). Maligat anticipates that De Claro’s leadership will bring about a more technologically advanced system and a more engaged and empowered workforce, ultimately benefiting SSS members.
