Quezon City remains wealthiest city, Cebu richest province in PH – COA report

QUEZON City remains the wealthiest city while Cebu is the richest province in the country based on their assets, according to a Commission on Audit report.

Carmona, on the other hand, is the wealthiest municipality in the country.

Based on the COA’s 2022 Annual Financial Report on Local Government, Quezon City reported assets worth P443.41 billion as of the end of 2022. This was P7.6 billion lower than what it reported in 2021.

Quezon City is the biggest city in the capital region based on land area and population.

Cebu’s assets in 2022 totaled P235.74 billion, a P20 billion increase from the previous year.

Carmona’s assets totaled P6.52 billion up from P311 million in 2021.
