COME November 19, the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) which serves as the country’s cradle for culture and arts would be hosting Verve Music Festival in what appears to be an earnest bid to take the culture back on its track after more than two years in hiatus in view of the global pandemic.
Produced by Epic Live Productions in partnership with Metro Manila-based educational institutions and youth organizations, the first biggest music festival in history – the Verve Music Festival – embarks on advocacies for youth involvement, environment advocacy and in support of the local artists.
The event, which will take place at the CCP open grounds, is under the direction of former ABS-CBN acting coach, TVC and events director, UP Alumna Lean Jurado.
On top of the pompous live band performances by Rock Bands Android 18, New Direction, Underclass, and Flirt from Cebu, Hip Hop Viral Sensations Nik Makino, Issa Lo Ki, Rising Star Mix Fenix, Philippines’ Premier DJs Katsy Lee, FPJ’s Son Ron Poe, Marc Marasigan, Cebuana Celebrity DJ Kate Jagdon, Music Genius of Makati Mr Arthur Tan, and Poblacion’s Hottest DJ HOEST, ticket holders get an added perk for supporting the advocacy – FREE Insurance Plans from InLife.
