The Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) is set to file a motion with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) on Thursday, January 11, regarding the suspension order imposed on two of its programs.
The SMNI will seek reconsideration for the MTRCB’s 14-day preventive suspension on “Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa” and “Laban Kasama ang Bayan.”
The filing is scheduled for 10:30 am at the MTRCB Building in Quezon City.
Another petition is set to be filed an hour earlier at the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
The MTRCB’s suspension pertains to programs featuring former president Rodrigo Duterte and ex-administration official Lorraine Badoy, citing a “thorough review and investigation” into alleged content violations.
