ACTRESS and singer Rita Daniela has filed an act of lasciviousness complaint against actor Archie Alemania before the Office of the City Prosecutor in Bacoor City.
In her complaint-affidavit, Daniela alleged that Alemania kissed and touched her without consent and repeatedly made inappropriate remarks against her.
The incident occurred after a Thanksgiving party in September. According to Daniela, Alemania made obscene remarks towards her during the party, which made her feel uncomfortable. However, she did not confront him at the time, believing he was just drunk and joking.
Later, while waiting for her Grab ride, Alemania, who was in a white van, offered to drive her home. Daniela initially refused but was persuaded as she believed he was sober. During the ride, Alemania allegedly put his hand on her shoulder and caressed her neck and shoulder. Daniela removed his hand and told him to stop.
Upon arriving at her home, as Daniela was about to get out of the van, Alemania forcefully held her hand and asked for a kiss. Daniela refused, reminding him that she considered him an elder brother. However, Alemania allegedly kissed her without her consent. Daniela struggled against him before managing to push him away.
As she attempted to leave the van, Alemania grabbed her bag and pulled her towards him. He hugged her from behind and touched her. Daniela cried and used all her strength to break free and get out of the car.
Daniela’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, stated that the complaint includes a screenshot of Daniela’s message to Alemania after the incident, where she expressed feeling disrespected and violated. Alemania reportedly apologized, claiming he was drunk.
This incident has sparked outrage and calls for justice for Daniela. The case is currently under investigation by the Office of the City Prosecutor.
