TINA Turner, the Queen of Rock and Roll has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her hume in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland, her family said in a statement Wednesday.
“With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.
Turner had a stroke and battled both kidney failure and intestinal cancer in recent years.
Known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Turner’s mega-hits include “Proud Mary,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “The Best.”
