THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has assured the family of Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate Catherine Camilon that its search for the missing woman was making progress.
“The PNP will respect the family’s request for them to reach out so I really cannot give more details. But suffice it to say, we have good leads on this case,” PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said.
Camilon was reported to have gone missing on October 12.
According to Farjardo, police units in Batangas were assisting the family to trace the areas where Camilon had gone and her possible locations.
“I already talked with the provincial director of Batangas and according to him, they are pursuing good leads,” she said.
“Our personnel there are in close coordination with the family and they went to the area where she was reported missing,” added Faajrdo.
The Batangas police said Camilon’s family had asked the police to let them exert their efforts first in reaching out to her.
