KRIS Aquino has teased a possible return to interviewing through a video podcast which she described as a potential “birthday gift” to her supporters, as she continues to recover from a recent medical ordeal.
In a social media update posted on Monday, Aquino shared, “With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong mag taped as live video podcast. I miss doing interviews! Will you watch and subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour? My birthday gift to you,” she enthused.
She also shared reflections on her health, recovery and gratitude for those who stood by her following what was supposed to be a minor procedure earlier this month that later led to serious complications.
The post featured a carousel of photos and videos including images of her son Bimby attending a church procession with fashion designer Michael Leyva, moments from the procedure, and scenes from her recovery. Aquino also marked the birthday of her late mother, former President Corazon Aquino, tying her current struggle to her mother’s quiet resilience.
“This ‘carousel’ of photos and videos happened January 24 6:30-10PM; January 25 from 4 PM to 6:45 PM. I said yes to have my PortaCath re-done,” Aquino wrote, thanking the doctors and nurses who attended to her, some of whom stayed through the early morning hours.
The update follows Aquino’s earlier revelation that the procedure resulted in a life-threatening incident in which her lungs temporarily stopped functioning. In the post, she acknowledged both the physical toll and the emotional weight of the experience.
