This, as Kris Aquino confirmed on Monday night the end of her over two-month engagement with former Interior secretary Mel Sarmiento.
Earlier, Aquino deleted all her Instagram post with Sarmiento that made netizens intrigued by her actions.
In her latest Instagram post on Monday night, Aquino posted a screenshot of Sarmiento’s text to her where he admitted he experienced bubble fatigue and went to a mall to buy clothes and have a haircut.
“I accept the fact that I already have a bubble fatigue and I will not be able to, sad to say, be able continue living in a bubble. On that note, with a heavy heart, I accepted your offer of letting me go,” Sarmiento said in his text to Aquino.
Aquino emphasized that sharing the screenshot of Sarmiento’s text will be her last post on her former flame.
“After that, you will never read nor hear anything at all about him from me, because I still want to preserve whatever dignity I have left,” said Aquino.
The actress has been suffering from a rare autoimmune disease for over three years, causing her to drastically lose weight.
Aquino said she now weighs 88 lbs.
Aquino hinted last October that she was engaged to Sarmiento, whom she met through her late brother former President Benigno Aquino III.
