THE wait is over! 2NE1, the iconic K-pop group, has landed in Manila, sending Filipino Blackjacks into frenzy ahead of their highly anticipated “Welcome Back” concert this weekend.
The idols arrived late Thursday night, November 14, greeted by a swarm of excited fans at the airport.
Prior to their arrival, CL teased their journey with Instagram Stories, sharing a clip of the girls en route to Manila and a selfie from the plane. Sandara Park also got fans buzzing with a tweet, declaring, “The girls are excited for Filipino food already!”
Dara’s excitement was evident upon arrival, as she quickly posted an Instagram Story showcasing a plate of Jollibee chicken and rice, a beloved Filipino fast food staple.
The four members, CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Minzy, are in the Philippines for a two-night concert as part of their reunion and comeback tour. The “Welcome Back” shows are set for November 16 and 17 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
YG Entertainment first announced 2NE1’s reunion tour in July, with the group kicking off the tour in Seoul, South Korea in October. Manila is the next stop on their journey, and fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to witness the group’s iconic performances live.
