THE Landbank of the Philippines today issued a warning to the public reminding everyone to be vigilant against online scams that are currently circulating on Facebook.
The govrnment bank said that they are offering government financial aid in exchange for likes or personal information, or through online surveys. These scams are NOT connected with LANDBANK or its subsidiaries.
Landbank added that public should be wary of fake facebook accounts announcing their upcoming 60th Anniversary and posing as the official LANDBANK Facebook Pages.
“NEVER share your bank account details, Online Passwords, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), and other sensitive information. Be on the guard and DO NOT engage with these fraudsters to avoid scams and security threats,” Landbank emphasized.
All information related to LANDBANK and its upcoming 60th Anniversary, will only be posted only on their official official social media channels and website.
