EMPLOYEES and officials of the alleged POGO hub located on Macapagal Avenue, Pasay City, were seen coming out of the gate as authorities raided the place on Thursday night, October 4.
Authorities caught several employees there, most of whom are Chinese nationals.
Around 200 foreigners were found inside rooms in the suspected POGO ‘scam hub.’
More than 70 Filipino employees were also found in two separate rooms.
Some of the apprehended employees admitted to receiving salaries ranging from P16,000 to P20,000 to scam foreigners.
According to the employees, a Chinese national runs the scam hub.
“There were a lot of Chinese nationals. There were preparations for biometrics for these alleged illegal aliens, and deportation cases will be filed against them,” said Dana Sandoval of the Bureau of Immigration.
