NANCY Gamo, the alleged accountant of suspended Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, was taken into custody.
According to GMA News report, Gamo underwent a medical checkup after she was brought to the Senate in Pasay City, where she will stay pending the resumption of the Senate inquiry into the raided POGO hub in Bamban.
Gamo was reported to be in good medical condition.
Guo, Gamo, and six others were orders arrested by the Senate for their continued absence from the hearings.
Four teams were deployed by the Senate to serve the arrest orders against Guo, Gamo, Dennis Cunanan, and the mayor’s alleged relatives, Sheila Leal Guo, Wesley Leal Guo, Jian Zhong Guo, Seimen L. Guo, and Wenyi Lin.
Each team has been assigned specific arrest orders since the addresses are different.
The Senate’s Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) was given 24 hours to serve the arrest orders and detain the eight individuals at its office.
Subpoenas will be issued against 15 other individuals to attend the next hearing on July 29 at 10 a.m.
