THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies and rain showers due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will affect most parts o the country on Monday
“Kasalukuyan, malaking bahagi ng Luzon ay nakakaranas ng maulap na kalangitan na may pag-ulan dulot ng habagat o southwest monsoon,”Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
“May inaasahan pa rin tayo na mahihina hanggang sa katamtaman hanggang sa kung minsan ay malalakas na pag-ulan dulot nito,” Aurelio added.
The state weather bureau said that in particular, Metro Manila, Western Visayas, Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms.
