THE Philippine National Police (PNP) in Central Mindanao responded swiftly to an incident of explosion in Koronadal City on May 26, 2022.
This pertains to the explosion of a Yellow Bus Line (YBL) unit at GenSan Drive, Brgy. Zone 3, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The incident resulted to the wounding of a certain Wilfredo Ilagan Tino who was driving his tricycle behind the said bus.
A Special Investigation Task Group has been activated for the post-blast findings.
While the investigation is ongoing, security measures in all points of convergence and transportation networks have been intensified following the incident.
“Rest assured, your PNP is on full alert. Now is also the time for the public to be extra vigilant and report immediately any suspicious individuals or activities in their area,” PNP OIC Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. said.
