THE Bayanihan E-Konsulta launched by Vice President Leni Robredo which aims to help address Covid-19 cases surge will end its service on May 31.
In a statement on Monday, Robredo said the teleconsultation program launched by the OVP on April 7, 2021 will stop accepting support.
(We sincerely thank everyone who joined us in this initiative to deliver the necessary medical assistance to our countrymen during the COVID-19 pandemic.)
Thousands of volunteers – medical professionals and non-medical – joined Bayanihan E-Konsulta and provided needed help to decongest hospitals by virtually linking patients and healthcare professionals for consultations.
(To all our volunteer doctors, nurses, other medical professionals, and the non-medical volunteers who have given their time and skills to make our program a success thank you very much.)
The OVP also expressed its gratitude to its partners who helped them have a wider reach in the country.
