VETRAN entertainment journalist and radio host Jobert Sucaldito has passed away. He was 65 years old. His death was confirmed on Sunday through the official Facebook page of his program, OOTD Jobert and Chaps Channel, which serves as the platform for his collaborative YouTube show with director Chaps Manansala.
The announcement conveyed the sad news to his followers and the public.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Nanay Jobert Sucaldito,” the statement read. “Thank you very much for your unwavering love, support, prayers, and patronage throughout the years.” Earlier in July, Manansala had publicly asked the public for prayers after Sucaldito was confined for nearly a month at Providence Hospital in Quezon City, with the cited health concerns being anxiety and sleep deprivation.

Sucaldito was a familiar and respected voice in Philippine showbiz news, known for his decades of work on radio, television, and online platforms.
