AS preparations for the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte continue with two days left, House trial spokesperson and Kabataan Party-list Rep. Atty. Renee Co looks forward to the beginning of the trial.
“Our one wish is that VP Sara doesn’t ghost the Filipino people on Day 1 of the trial,” she said.
Rep. Renee stressed that the impeachment process is an important accountability mechanism, “Kailangan natin itong tapusin upang ipakita ang respeto sa taumbayan na naghahanap ng kasagutan.”
She also extends her wish to the senator-judges, “We who are watching are hopeful that the senator-judges fulfill their duty with impartiality and commitment. The Filipino people do not deserve anything less.”
