IN the vibrant community of Zone 1A, Barangay Bula, General Santos City, Amihan Zamora stands out not just as a leader, but as a visionary who blends business acumen with deep compassion for people, animals, and the environment. A graduate of Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Development, she has built a life and career defined by one core mission: to create spaces where everyone—regardless of identity, status, or background—can thrive, grow, and be empowered.
Her professional journey is a testament to how management expertise can be used for both business excellence and social transformation. Since 2022, she has served as Chief Executive Officer of Mandirigma Philippines Association, Inc., a non-governmental organization at the forefront of promoting inclusivity and equality for all genders, sexual orientations, and identities. Drawing from her background in human resources and organizational development, she has guided the group to become a powerful force for advocacy, education, and community building. She further expanded this vision by founding Miss Mandirigma Philippines, a unique platform that celebrates diversity, highlights beauty in all its forms, and empowers individuals to embrace their true selves with pride and confidence.
LEADING WITH HEART, PURPOSE, AND INCLUSIVITY

Beyond advocacy, Amihan is also a creative and innovative entrepreneur. Since 2023, she has been co‑owner of Mae Roma Salon and Theater Spa in Davao City—a one‑of‑a‑kind establishment that redefines the customer experience by combining premium salon and wellness services with live theatrical entertainment. This venture not only creates jobs and supports local artists but also serves as a safe, welcoming space where people can express themselves freely. Closer to home, she has been the President of the Bula LGBT Community since 2015, leading initiatives that strengthen solidarity, protect rights, and foster respect within her locality. Since 2017, she has also served as Purok Representative for the LGBT Community under Bula Blue Siren, ensuring that marginalized voices are heard and represented in local governance. She is also one of the Philippine Faces of Success 2026 honorees, and the event will be held on August 1, 2026 at Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan City.
What truly sets Amihan apart is her unwavering commitment to service and advocacy, which extends far beyond leadership roles. She is a staunch champion of animal welfare, trans women empowerment, and gender and development, consistently lending her time, resources, and influence to meaningful causes. Her contributions include being a major sponsor for programs like Community Drug Free Individuals and Perlas ng GSCPO, which support rehabilitation, wellness, and community welfare. She is also a dedicated environmentalist, having actively participated in the “Plant 500 Mangrove Trees” project at the Bula Mangroves Sanctuary in both 2022 and 2023, helping protect coastal ecosystems and promote climate resilience.

A lifelong learner, Amihan continuously sharpens her skills and expands her knowledge to better serve others. Her extensive portfolio of training and certifications includes Strategic Planning, Recruitment and On‑Boarding, Employee Satisfaction, and Logistics and Operations—skills she uses to make organizations more effective and inclusive. She has also completed workshops on Inclusive Policy Development, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace, and Leadership Training, as well as specialized courses in Community Resilience Model Skills, Public Speaking, and Community‑Based Event Planning.
Through every role she takes on—whether as CEO, entrepreneur, community leader, or volunteer—Amihan Zamora remains guided by the belief that true success is measured by the lives you touch and the change you create. In General Santos City and beyond, she is building a legacy of equity, empowerment, and service, proving that when leadership is paired with heart, it has the power to transform communities and build a fairer, more inclusive society for all.
