RETURNING to indoor play after months on the beach is never easy—but for Bernadeth Pons, the real challenge has been reconnecting with a familiar yet distant teammate.
Pons and Jia De Guzman hadn’t shared the court much during their previous stint with Creamline. At the time, Pons was still coming off the bench while De Guzman orchestrated the offense. By the time Pons broke into the starting lineup, De Guzman had already taken her talents to Japan’s S.V. League.
Now reunited, the duo is slowly rebuilding the chemistry that could make Creamline a formidable contender once more.
So everyday namin ‘yun tinatrabaho.”
