PHILIPPINE Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog personnel responded to a fire involving a motor yacht sailing in the waters off Tingloy, Batangas on January 27, 2026. The swift action of the Coast Guard ensured the safety of all crew members on board.
According to reports, all seven Filipino crew members were safely evacuated after the fire, which is believed to have originated in the yacht’s engine room. No injuries were reported in the incident.
