ALIGNED with its strengthened border security and enhanced trade facilitation, the Bureau of Customs Port of NAIA (BOC-NAIA) ensures its preparedness to attend to all travelers arriving in the country in the ease of travel restrictions.
BOC-NAIA has increased its manpower and added shifts in airports to better serve and cater to tourists, homebound OFWs, balikbayans and volume of passenger baggage.
Likewise, manpower in warehouses also continues to operate 24/7 for air cargo concerns.
Earlier, the BOC-NAIA created the ONE STOP SHOP to cater to all time sensitive importations especially COVID-19-related importations. Furthermore, the Port also launched 2 Customer Care Centers (CCC), one in the main building and another located at CMEC for postal packages.
BOC-NAIA reminds all travelers to be aware of regulated and prohibited goods to have faster customs clearance. A warning is being issued against those who would attempt to smuggle illegal items into the country. BOC-NAIA under District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan assured that the Port of NAIA is ready to recive the influx of travelers in accordance to BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero’s directive to protect the country’s borders against illicit goods and also to ensure fast clearance of legitimate goods.
