TINGOG Party-list Rep. Andrew Julian Romualdez and Negros Occidental Rep. Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez walk side by side at the House of Representatives Monday, reflecting a strong alliance built on mutual respect, friendship, and shared commitment to public service.
Romualdez and Benitez are among the young lawmakers participating in the second batch of the three-day Executive Course on Legislation for new Members of the 20th Congress.
The two were spotted walking and chatting casually as they made their way back to the seminar after lunch.
As part of their continuing education as public servants, they will receive a comprehensive orientation on key legislative topics, including the budget process, ethics and accountability, and the systems and functions of House committees. The course aims to provide members of the House of Representatives with a deeper understanding of their vital roles as legislators and the workings of Congress.
This Executive Course on Legislation was launched by the House of Representatives, in partnership with the Center for Policy and Executive Development (CPED) of the University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG).
