A FIRE that broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning in Sta. Maria Phase 4 Subdivision, Barangay Ampid 1, San Mateo, Rizal, claimed the lives of three individuals, while one other sustained injuries.
Authorities confirmed the deaths of a 60-year-old mother, her 30-year-old daughter, and her 28-year-old son-in-law. Their bodies were discovered in the bathroom of the house, which was severely damaged by the fire. The victims perished as a result of the fire.
