A GROUP of supporters of former vice president Leni Robredo, known as the “Kakampinks,” have launched a new movement called IM15M, aiming to secure Senate seats for former senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino in the 2025 mid-term elections.
The IM15M, which draws its name from the 15 million Filipinos who voted for Robredo in the 2022 presidential election, is a coalition of various groups including IMKLeni, Leni Tanging Pagasa (LTP), Bankers for Leni, Youth for Leni, Bikers for Leni, and the Robredo People’s Council (RPC).
In a press conference held on Bonifacio Day, the group emphasized their commitment to advocating for competent leadership and denouncing the inefficiency, corruption, and ineptitude of several current and aspiring candidates for the Senate.
The IM15M highlighted the resilience of the Pink Movement, noting that despite losing the presidential race, their spirit and commitment to meaningful change remain strong.
They believe that the movement has paved a new path forward, showcasing the power of grassroots engagement and ordinary citizens striving for positive change.
The group has declared full support for the tandem of Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino, both of whom stood with the movement in 2022. They believe that these two former senators embody the ideals of “Angat Buhay” and have proven their dedication to uplifting Filipinos, particularly those in marginalized communities.
The IM15M is calling on all Filipinos who share their vision of inclusivity, integrity, and hope to join them in their mission to build a nation driven by justice, compassion and possibility.
