THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has issued an Orange warning level for Quezon province, specifically for the following municipalities: San Francisco, San Andres, Mulanay, San Narciso, Catanauan, Buenavista, Lopez, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan, Calauag, Gumaca, General Luna, Macalelon, Pitogo, Sariaya, Lucena, Pagbilao, Atimonan, Unisan, Agdangan, Candelaria, Dolores, San Antonio, Tiaong, Tayabas, Lucban, Mauban, Sampaloc, Alabat, Burdeos, Jomalig, Padre Burgos, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Perez, Plaridel, Polillo, Quezon.
A yellow warning level has also been issued for Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and parts of Quezon (General Nakar, Infanta, Real), with the associated hazard: Possible FLOODING in flood-prone areas.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected over Bulacan within the next 3 hours. Light to moderate rains are also affecting Cavite and Metro Manila, which may persist within 3 hours.
The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 8:00 PM today.
