NUEVA ECIJA – Three siblings, two of whom are children, were tragically killed while their father remains in critical condition after the tricycle they were riding collided with a motorcycle, on Sunday in Santa Rosa.
The deceased siblings were identified as Macus Santillana, 10; KL, 6; and Mikyla, 2, while their father, Michael, are in critical condition at the hospital, and their other sibling, Liway, 3, escaped unharmed.
All are residents of the said area.
According to the report from Santa Rosa-PNP, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the said location.
Based on the police investigation, Michael was driving the tricycle with his four children on board after attending a 40-day event of their relative.
However, while traversing the road, the tricycle suddenly collided with a motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries to the father and children. The father and children were immediately taken to the hospital, but the siblings were declared dead while their father continues to be observed.
The mother of the children is seeking financial assistance for the burial of her three children, as she still cannot believe the tragic incident.
