THE Phivolcs reported that a magnitude 5.6 quake jolted Jomalig, Quezon on Wednesday morning.
The monitoring agency said the earthquake of tectonic origin struck the town at 7:16 a.m. and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
State seismologists said no damage was expected but aftershocks are likely.
Phivolcs said Intensity III was reported in Quezon City.
