THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday that Tropical Storm Dindo has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) only after a few hours and is headed for Japan.
Weather specialist Benison Estareja said Dindo was last spotted some 670 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
“It already exited PAR and has no more threat of affecting the country,” the Pagasa forecaster said.
However, the southwest monsoon or habagat continues to affect most parts of the country, especially extreme Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the localized thunderstorms will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms particularly during late afternoon or at night in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said.
