CARLOS Yulo bagged a bronze medal in the floor exercise of the 2024 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup series in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Yulo collected a score of 14.366 to win the bronze, with Yahor Sharamkou of Belarus taking the gold with 14.933 and Kazuki Minami of Japan grabbing the silver with 14.666, as posted on spin.ph
The Filipino gymnast is using the Olympic qualifier as preparation for Paris. Yulo has already secured a berth in this year’s Paris Olympics via the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships last October when he captured the bronze in the floor exercise.
Yulo has also been training in Manila for his second Olympic appearance after competing in Tokyo in 2021.
