POLICE have arrested four employees of an LPG refilling station in Bulakan, Bulacan and charged for unauthorized operation and multiple legal infractions.
The suspects, identified by police as Chloe Tirando Mejorada, Joshua Roque Bantoy, Markjelo Gonzales Peralta, and Jill Arjhea de Leon Inocencio, associated with Sun Power LPG Gas Refilling, were detained by the National Bureau of Investigation – Organized and Transnational Crime Division (NBI-OTCD).
Their arrest stemmed from an entrapment operation targeting Unauthorized Cross Filling, Illegal Trading of Petroleum, Issuance of Receipts Without Essential Details, Unlawful use/possession of cylinders, Trademark Infringement, and Unfair Competition.
Following verification by NBI-OTCD, the entrapment operation was conducted on February 27, 2024, leading to the recovery of entrapment money and various seized items, including LPG cylinders and equipment.
The suspects were subsequently subjected to inquest proceedings on February 28, 2024 before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Malolos, Bulacan.
