NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkabahala si Senador Nancy Binay sa mga lumabas na larawan ng showbiz personality na si Mariel Padilla, misis ni Senador Robin Padilla na tumatanggap ng intravenous glutathione sa mismong tanggapan ng senador sa Senado.
Sa kalatas, sinabi ni Binay hindi nararapat ang ginawa ni Mariel sa litrato na nagpapakita ng tumatanggap ng glutathione drip habang nasa background naman ang mister nitong senador.
Tinanggap na ang post ngunit ito ay matapos maging viral ang larawan.
“I’m not sure if the Ethics Committee can extend its jurisdiction dito sa nangyaring insidente since hindi naman member ng Senado si Ms. Mariel. But we also need to closely look into it because it involves issues of conduct, integrity, and reputation of the Institution and matters that concern health and safety,” sabi ni Binay, chairperson ng Senate Ethics Committee.

“Nakaka-bother lang dahil yung IV procedure was done inside the Senate premises na walang abiso mula sa clinic,” ayon pa kay Binay.
