F2 Logistics ends operations of Cargo Movers team in PVL

admin December 14, 2023

F2 Logistics management has decided to end its operations of the Cargo Movers team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

Amid the rumors surrounding the Cargo Movers for the past weeks, F2 Logistics announced Wednesday that it is disbanding the team and closing a chapter in the professional volleyball scene as the company focuses on its grassroots programs.

“As we shift our focus to the grassroots and put to a halt the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, we thank our ever-loyal supporters that have been with the team through the victories and the losses,” the team wrote.

F2 Logistics entered the volleyball scene seven years ago in the defunct Philippine Superliga (PSL) and won five championships until 2019.

The Cargo Movers, who also won the inaugural Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Champions League, transferred to the PVL in 2021 but skipped the bubble due to several injuries.

The team also skipped last year’s Invitationals and only played five conferences in the PVL with the bronze medal in the first All-Filipino Conference as its best finish in the league under rookie coach Regine Diego.

PVL statement on F2 Logistics

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the withdrawal of F2 Logistics from the Premier Volleyball League.

Their presence in the league was marked by intense competition, delivering exciting matches and creating countless memories for our fans.

We express our gratitude to F2 Logistics for their dedication to the league and Philippine volleyball.

Thank you, F2 Logistics, for your significant contribution to the Premier Volleyball League.
