POLICE reported Monday evening the death of two junior high school students who were ambushed in a remote barangay in Pikit, North Cotabato.
Investigation showed the ambush took place Sunday night while victims Jamer Ebrahim, 21, and Muhaliden Amer, 20, both of Barangay Poblacion were riding in a motorcycle going home.
In a report on Monday, October 16, Police Major John Arvin Cambang, town police chief said both victims died on the spot.
The two were fired upon by unidentified group of men on the boarder of Barangay Ladtingan and Kalawag. The victims bore multiple bullet wounds. Responding police found empty shells for caliber .45 pistol at the scene.
