GASOLINE prices may go down beginning Tuesday, while motorists may have to add more cents for diesel.
Unioil on Saturday said it expects gasoline to cost ₱1.80 to ₱2 less per liter, and diesel prices to rise by 20 to 40 centavos per liter.
Another industry source, meanwhile, estimates a price cut of ₱2.10 to ₱2.50 for gasoline, and an increase of 10 to 50 centavos for diesel.
Oil firms implemented a minimal price rollback this week.
The price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date, per-liter net increase of ₱17.30 for gasoline, ₱13.40 for diesel, and ₱9.44 for kerosene, according to the Department of Energy.
