SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez on Monday afternoon formally presented to Speaker Kim Jin-Pyo of the National Assembly of South Korea the resolution adopted by the Philippine House of Representatives expressing strong support and solidarity with the Republic of South Korea in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement.

“I am pleased that with the pandemic behind us, our parliamentary exchanges have once again become active. It is my hope that the relationship between our two countries will continue to grow and
become even stronger over the coming years. Be assured that the House of Representatives of the 19th Congress will support the elevation of PH-ROK relations to a strategic partnership,” Romualdez, who heads the 312-member House of Representatives, said as he reiterated his condolences and expression of sympathy to South Korean leaders led by Speaker Jin-Pyo over loss of lives and massive damage to their country because of floods.
“It is my honor to lead the House of Representatives in presenting this Resolution to you, Speaker Jin-Piyo as a testament to our unwavering commitment to further grow and enrich both our countries’
friendship and relationship in all aspects,” Romualdez said.
