IN an exciting match held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Creamline clinched its second consecutive Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference title, after beating Petro Gazz in four sets, 20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-15 in Game Three. The game was attended by a total of 12,175 enthusiastic fans, who cheered on both teams.
Creamline has now won four titles in the All-Filipino Conference, and six overall since joining the league in 2017. Despite the absence of their skipper Alyssa Valdez throughout the conference, the team managed to secure the championship through the collective effort of its players, namely Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Michele Gumabao, Ced Domingo, and Jia De Guzman.
The game started with Petro Gazz taking the lead, as they won the first set with a score of 25-20. Creamline was able to turn the game around in the second set, with a 25-20 win of their own. The third set saw Creamline continue to dominate, winning with a score of 25-18. In the fourth set, Creamline showed their superiority, leading by as much as ten points at one stage, and eventually winning the set with a score of 25-15, and securing the championship.
Creamline’s win was made even more impressive by their ability to bounce back from their earlier loss in Game One, where they lost to Petro Gazz in four sets. They were able to win the next two games, including the crucial Game Three, to secure the championship.
